Jupitice launches digital document signing solution

Jupitice Justice Technologies has introduced an Integrated E-Stamping and Digital Signing Solution aimed at helping enterprises, financial institutions, and legal teams modernize how they handle document execution. The system provides a secure digital framework for paying non-judicial stamp duty and executing legally valid documents through a unified workflow, moving away from traditional paper-based methods.

E-stamping is a computer-based method for paying stamp duty that replaces physical stamp papers with tamper-proof digital alternatives. As organizations shift their operations online, the need for compliant and integrated infrastructure has become more pressing. Traditional processes often require separate manual steps, such as stamp duty calculation, physical signing, and compliance tracking, which can create delays and obscure audit trails.

For high-volume institutions managing transactions across multiple states, these fragmented processes increase operational dependency. The platform addresses these issues by bringing digital stamping, document upload, party details, and audit logging into a single operating flow. Users can initiate e-stamping directly from the dashboard, upload source documents, and validate metadata before completing the process.

Streamlining Document Workflows

The solution integrates with existing business applications via APIs and configurable workflows. This allows enterprises to align their execution processes with internal systems without extensive software redevelopment. Once the process is completed, the final stamped and signed PDF is automatically retrieved and updated against the relevant inventory or transaction record.

While digitizing contracts is common, centralizing the actual payment of stamp duty and signing into a single automated loop removes a persistent friction point in enterprise legal operations. It transforms a compliance obligation into a seamless background process, provided the underlying state regulations permit full digital execution.

The system supports two primary modes of operation. The Jupitice Stamp Inventory mode covers documents where stamp paper is procured physically from authorized vendors. In this mode, the client specifies the applicable state, based on the jurisdiction governing the document, as well as the denomination. The physical paper is then scanned and uploaded to the platform to be converted into a digital format.

Real-Time Execution and Security

The Operational and Financial E-Stamp flows operate in real time. The Operational flow captures party, consideration, and article code details for commercial agreements. The Financial flow is designed for banking and credit transactions, capturing loan details such as sanction amount, interest rate, and tenure.

Both flows integrate with NeSL registration and support secure document execution through Aadhaar-based e-KYC authentication. The platform offers 15 types of digital signatures, including OTP-based, biometric-based, and e-token-based options. Users are redirected to relevant consent flows where they can review the document and complete e-signing subject to state regulations.

Automation and Audit Controls

Automation plays a central role in the system. The platform automatically downloads the final stamped PDF and updates the document in the database, reducing manual follow-up. Every e-stamping attempt is logged with a unique transaction reference, creating a traceable history of initiation, stamping, signing, and retrieval.

The platform also incorporates encrypted data transmission and role-based access controls. These features help legal, compliance, and finance teams maintain control over document execution and respond to audit requirements. The announcement highlights the efficiency gains, though integration with existing legacy banking systems often presents technical hurdles for large institutions.

This launch supports Jupitice’s broader vision of building configurable operating systems for legal and governance transformation. The company’s ecosystem includes tools for litigation management, contract lifecycle management, and online dispute resolution. The new solution is relevant for banks, NBFCs, housing finance companies, insurance providers, and regulated enterprises that execute documents requiring non-judicial stamp duty.
